Objective:

  The objective to the establishment of a Moy's Family Association Scholarship Fund is to encourage the children of the members of the Moy's Association to strive toward obtaining the highest academic achievement in school.

  The Fund will provide a monetary gift to those students who had successfully achieved the highest grade point average (as listed in the qualification criteria).

  Our aim is to have the children become familiar with the Association. As the children become adults, we hope that they will want to also participate in and continue the work of the Moy's Family Association.

Requirements to Participate in the Fund:

      1.  The parent of the child must be a Moy (or Mui or Mei), be a member of the Moy's Family Association and is current with payment of the annual membership dues.
      2.  The child participant (if age 18 or over) in the Fund must be a Moy (or Mui or Mei), be a member of the Moy's Family Association and is current with payment of the annual membership dues.

Qualification Criteria for the Scholarship:

        1. There will be two scholarships given to each of the school level.                                                    The four school levels are:
                  a) Elementary School Level (Grades 1 - 5 or 6)
b) Middle School Level (Grades 6 or 7 - 8 or 9)
c) High school Level (Grades 9 or 10 - 12)
d) College Level (Undergraduate - Freshman to Senior)
        2. The scholarship will be awarded to the two top students in each level with the highest average at the end of the school year.
        3. If more than two students have the same high average, then the amount of the total scholarship amount will be divided among the number of students that have achieved the highest grade average.
