Moy Shee Family Association is formally incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in the State of New York on January 24, 1949, although it has been in existence since the late 19th century. The Association is a part of a group of regional associations that fall under a national organization known as the Moy's Clan Association, U.S.A.
The name of the national association shall be "MOY SHEE DONG KONG SHAW" or "MOY'S CLAN ASSOCIATION, U.S.A. All regional associations shall be referred to as "MOY SHEE FAMILY ASSOCIATION" or "MOY SHEE KUNG SHAW" and be identified with the name of the city or locality (hereinafter referred to as KUNG SHAW).
The national association shall follow the WORLD MOY CLAN'S ASSOCIATION and uses its insignia as official symbol. The green background flag shall be the official association flag. The national association shall be located in Chicago and the regional associations or Kung Shaws included the following:
- New York Kung Shaw.
- New England Kung Shaw.
- District of Columbia Kung Shaw.
- Minneapolis Kung Shaw.
- Southern U.S. (Tampa/Miami) Kung Shaw.
- Western U.S. (San Francisco) Kung Shaw.
- Bahamas Kung Shaw.
