The Moy Shee Family Association is a not-for-profit organization that besides fulfilling its primary function of organizing all Moy's family members and their descendents in the region and educating them about family values, family origins and Chinese culture, it also encourages and assists its members about becoming self-sufficient and productive American citizens.

The Association serves its own membership and the Asian American community by active participation in local community policy making and provides community service leadership by serving on the standing committee of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) as a board member.
